(pros-tho-don-tiks)
Prosthodontics, also called prosthetic dentistry, is the field of dental care that involves restoring and maintaining oral function, health, comfort and appearance by replacing teeth and gum tissue with artificial substitutes (sometimes called false teeth). Prosthodontists, who receive three years of additional training in their specialty, can fit patients with such prosthetic devices as single or multiple tooth crowns and bridges, partial dentures and complete dentures.
Family Dental Care Center employs dentists with years of experience in prosthetics, as well as lab technicians on the cutting edge of materials and techniques. We provide our patients with quality results in all aspects of their prosthetic needs.
